Alright guys, since everybody seems to be leaking the information left and right, we’ve decided we shouldn’t delay talking about it as well. Cherry Mobile is looking to launch something big this coming week – and if the top half of the invitation image is to be interpreted, it could be a quad-core powered device. That said, we just don’t know if it will be a phone (could be a tablet). Neither do we know about the rest of the specs nor the price. So yeah, this news is thin as thin can get. But with the track record of the local mobile phone company being pretty solid these days, we’ll bet that its going to be pretty genre-defining. (and price-defining as well)

What you’re looking at right now (if you’re looking at the article’s cover picture) appears to be the left side of the phone (or tablet) in question. We can see a volume rocker and two buttons flanking it. One is probably the power / lock key, but we can’t be sure of the other. (In tablets, sometimes that’s a menu or back button.) Either way, we’re not fond of the lame guessing games and speculations before a product launch. One thing we’d like to note though is that the texture of the back side looks a lot like the Nexus 7 tablet. So could Cherry Mobile be launching a quad-core inexpensive tablet? We’d rather not guess. Whatever it is, we’re sure it’ll give its competition a run for their money.

Anyway, we don’t have to wait much longer for the announcement of this mystery product as the invitation to the event is just for next week. So let’s all sit back and enjoy our Valentines dates for now. Oh, and put a nice little heart shape on the coming week – as you might find another thing to love. (See what we did there? Yeah. We should totally work for Hallmark.)
