Lenovo’s alleged new gaming phone has been spotted in CCC certification and tested on Geekbench. The handset is expected to bring top tier specifications fo fulfill the gaming aspect of the upcoming phone.
In Geekbench, the SoC’s CPU clocks in at 3.19GHz and also runs on Android 12. Digging in deeper, the GPU identifies as “Adreno 730”. This matches the description of the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. The device scored 1299 and 3953, in single and multi threaded tests which is pretty respectable.
On the other hand, the CCC certification reveals its charging capabilities. It is rated for 68.2W at peak.
The handset is earlier known to other rumors as “Halo”, and now known to be the Lenovo Legion Y70. Specifications include a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, a 6.67″ Full HD 144Hz OLED display, 16MP selfie camera and 50MP+13MP main and ultrawide combo accompanied by a 2MP macro shooter. The 68W charging capability will be filling a 5000mAh battery providing energy to the device.
