Tecno’s Camon series is the best known top of the line series of the brand. Notably, the existing Camon 18 Premier introduced gimbal OIS on its ultrawide shooter, high refresh rate OLED display at a low asking price, retailing at PHP 14,990. This time, the successor is nothing short of promising.
According to a report from passionategeekz, the upcoming Camon 19 Pro 5G will have a flagship grade Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset. This is a souped up version of the 888, which itself is impressive but has some backlash of heating issues.
Aside from that, when Google announced their newest version of Android, Android 13 this Google I/O. The Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G is one of the first devices to run on Android 13 Beta. Other features of the device are currently unknown. Its price is hard to track considering its predecessors.
The 18 Premier launched in the Philippines for PHP 14,990. While the Camon 17 Pro is a budget solution at PHP 9990. It maybe safe to assume that the trajectory of the price is up. And given the chip it reportedly garners, a price hike would be no surprise.
