Realme has been a contender when it comes to budget devices targeted against Xiaomi with their Redmi line. Over time, the brand has been releasing much more premium devices this is evident with the realme X2 Pro, realme X50 Pro and just recently, the realme GT.

Now, from official social media channels, realme has started to tease a Pro device upcoming. This includes some of the realme officials as well.

On the other hand, Onleaks has released the render of the alleged Pro device that realme has been teasing. The realme GT 2 Pro has already been in the limelight of the rumormill with all the AnTuTu benchmarks appearing before. But this time, we get a glimpse of the actual device with the renders.

First of all, the device is shown in two color selections. A light mint green option and a white colorway. Addressing the elephant in the room, is a visor camera island for the main rear shooters which reminds us of the Huawei Nexus 6P or even the Google Pixel 6.

The specifications of the GT2 Pro punches above against previous realme offerings. The handset is rumored to have a Wide Quad HD, a first for the brand, OLED panel measuring at 6.8 inches diagonal. The panel is also said to support 120Hz refresh rate. Running the GT 2 Pro is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 which is also paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage to aid performance.

The camera system on the visor is two 50MP shooters, a wide and an ultrawide and an 8MP telephoto shooter. The selfie camera on the front is a 32MP shooter.

Other features of the device include a 5000mAh battery that fills in at 65W Dart charging technology, Android 12 on realmeUI and NFC.

Though the specifications maybe shimmering, the device may also be the most expensive realme phone yet rumored to retail at $799.
