One of the prevalent smartphone phonemakers in Africa and parts of Asia, Tecno, has released another device dubbed as the Camon 17.
The Camon 17, just like any other Tecno device, is targeted at a budget friendly audience. The newly launched has a 720p display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The media renderer has a punchhole cutout for the selfie camera.
Under the hood of the device is a MediaTek Helio G85 processor which was used already in a number of devices. This is paired of up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The handset’s storage can be expanded via its micro SD card of up to 128GB.
For the cameras, it has a 48MP shooter as its main sensor for the triple rear cameras with a QVGA and 2MP sensor accompanying the main. The selfie camera within the punchhole is a 16MP effort.
It has a 5000mAh power pack inside that supports 18W fast charging through its micro USB port. It runs on Android 11 and features Bluetooth 5 and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The device’s local launch remains unknown as of writing.
