GoPro Hero 9 To Be Announced This Sept 16

For those awaiting a new action camera this year, GoPro has finally broken their silence and is about to announce the newest one in their main line of Hero models. From the teaser image, you can see the faint outline of the standard sized Hero with a 9 badge on the side – which practically confirms a new Hero 9 model. The live stream will happen on Sept 16, 2020 10PM GMT+8, and we’ve embedded the YouTube livestream video above so you don’t have to look for the link anymore.

There’s a few teasers out on the new action camera of course, chief of which is what seems to be higher resolution recording – we’d wager its something like 6K video. And there’s rumors of a front facing screen for selfie videos like the Osmo Action competitor launched a year or so ago.

Either way, there’s not much more time to wait so we’ll find out more about the Hero 9 during the announcement in about a day!
