With the current situation, the pandemic has driven us in our own homes and more connected to the internet. Demand for more budget friendly devices are high with people more willing to spend at a pinch and not squander much especially in these trying times. So here are four budget devices that has arrive or will arrive soon in the Philippines below the 8000-peso price point.
TECNO Spark 5 Pro
The new player in town is just in time to deliver a budget device. It offers promising hardware for the price. MediaTek’s Helio A25 chip keeps the device up to task when it comes to power. The 6.6″ HD display should be suffice to media consumption for the user. A quad camera array located at the rear is in the job and a 8MP selfie camera accompanying them. Generously, they packed a 5,000mAh battery to keep the lights on. More than enough would it be for the battery to keep up the lifestyle of the user in quarantine. For the memory configuration, a plentiful 4GB + 64GB combo is present in the device, pretty good considering the price it’s asking for.
Infinix Note 7
The return of Infinix at the market is a glad sight to see, especially that they have something for the Filipinos to indulge on. Aside from the Infinix Hot 9 series, the Note 7 is another one of their assets in giving a better smartphone experience. They’ve gone with a MediaTek Helio G70 chip, famous for punching above its class in terms of performance, coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage which is user expandable. For media consumption, the 6.95″ HD display is on duty to feed content to the user. Four rear cameras are located at the rear which is lead by a 48 megapixel sensor and a 16 megapixel selfie camera at the cutout of the display. A generous 5000mAh reservoir fuels the device which charges at 18W.
Vivo Y11
Arrives in the Philippines is a new variant of the Y11. It is a watered down version of the Y11 with less amount of RAM at 2GB. The rest is the same from the Snapdragon 439 chip, the storage at 32GB, the huge 5000mAh battery and a 6.35-inch screen adequate for any media content.
Redmi 9C
Xiaomi has been the staple when it comes to “budget”. Their upcoming Redmi 9C has been spotted in their official channel on Shopee. The device, in tandem with the 9A, features a large 6.53″ screen and 5000mAh battery. What takes it apart is the upgraded Helio G35 processor for more punch and a more robust camera array.
