The budget segment has been saturated with all kinds of offerings in the Philippine market. Amidst fierce competition with the likes of Xiaomi and realme, Infinix strives with its offerings and now has released two more budget devices, the Infinix Hot 9 series. Separating from the competition, the company has released devices with ample amounts of storage for less.
The Infinix Hot 9 offers a punch-hole cutout display. The processor powering the device is a MediaTek Helio A25 chip. The chip is clocked at 1.8GHz. The main camera leading the quad camera setup on the rear is a 16 megapixel shooter. The selfie camera located on the display cutout has an 8 megapixel sensor beneath. A generous 5,000mAh cell powers the device and boots up Android 10 on top of Infinix’s flavor of Android, XOS 6.
The Play version has two distinct variants. One with a Helio A22 chip that boots up Android Go platform and a Helio A25 variant which has vanilla Android, both on top of XOS 6.
Both variants have 6.82-inch screens and a mammoth 6,000mAh battery.
