Not sure how we didn’t notice this sooner, but Ubisoft is currently giving away free copies of “Steep” – their extreme sports game centered mostly on snowy mountains. (So there’s skiing, wingsuits, snowboarding, etc.) And we’re mentioning this because the free-to-own promo is only up until May 21st – today.
Very simple – login to your PC uPlay launcher and just click on the Steep Giveaway link. If you don’t have an account right now, then register at uplay.com.
We’re going to just keep it short here. Ubisoft is giving the game away to promote the extra content they have for the game – which is currently enjoying its 6th Season of content. The influx of new players from getting the game for free is a good way to keep a game like this keep growing and maintain its momentum to last a little longer for current players.
