By the middle of this month Huawei’s new camera-centric flagship smartphone line will be available to Philippine consumers, the P9 series. In cooperation with legendary camera & lens manufacturer Leica, they’ve implemented a dual-sensor/lens system on their standard P9 & P9 Plus devices to provide better photographic freedom – plus a monochrome choice for consumers who like the aesthetic and contrast rendition of a Black & White sensor. All three phones pack large Full HD displays; metal bodies with fingerprint sensors; 3,000+mAh Batteries; and running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The best part? As you can see from the spec sheets above, the P9 will be priced at PHP 23,990; P9 Plus at PHP 29,990; and a trimmed down P9 Lite will be priced at PHP 12,490. Pretty decent prices if you ask us, but there’s more. Huawei Philippines has 20% off discount promo for people who take part in their “trade-in” program at their Huawei flagship store in Mall of Asia on June 11-12, 2016. The mechanics are simple enough: bring your old film or digital camera, be part of the first 200 buyers of the P9/P9 Plus, and you’ll get 20% off and PHP 6,000 worth of freebies. That brings the prices down to PHP 19,190 & PHP 23,990 respectively – a pretty good deal in our opinion.
