THE BEST PHABLET IN THE WORLD

May 08 12:44 2016 Print This Article

Up until very recently, Phablets have gotten a bad rep. The in-between smartphone and tablet size mobile devices are definitely bigger, but they haven’t really brought anything to the table except for a larger, same resolution display – sometimes with a seldomly used stylus. People started to dislike the term, and have even started to relegate it to a lower rung of smartphones – with top brands making smaller phones between the 5.0″ and 5.5″ size right now. Enter Google & Huawei’s Nexus 6P – a re-imagining of the venerable platform that reminds us WHY we wanted this form factor in the first place: its use for entertainment; ability to pack powerful, High Res hardware in a thinner profile; and even bonuses like larger batteries and powerful front speakers. So does the Nexus 6P just remind us of those advantages or does it deliver it entirely? Check out our review video embedded above and some of our findings below to find out!

The Google / Huawei Nexus 6P is the best phablet we’ve ever used, period. It’s got a large high res display and powerful front speakers to make gaming and multimedia an absolute joy, and the camera and UI are just brilliant. It is hands down one of the best phones in the market right now, and the positives heavily outweigh the negatives. For that, we’re giving it our Editor’s Choice Award. The phablet form factor is back, and its better than ever. Well done, Huawei & Google!

The Huawei Nexus 6P is one of the best devices in the market right now and the only reason you might reconsider buying one is if you don't like large "two-handed" phones. The Nexus line has finally found the best combination of power, performance, camera, and UI which makes this phone an absolute beast.
