This weekend, Metro Manila is about to go down in history as a well known destination for eSports. Why? Because we’re about to host the biggest DotA 2 tournament in this region: ESL One Manila. The US$250,000 prize pool tournament will be hosted at SM MoA Arena to an audience of 10,000 people (and millions more online) – tickets of which are already sold out months in advance to eSports fans the world over. Eight teams from around the world will be competing, including EHOME, Team Liquid, Team Secret, compLexity, Team Empire, Wings Gaming, Fnatic, and our very own Mineski team over the two day event, with live coverage from TV5’s Aksyon TV and supported by PLDT Fibr & Smart’s high speed internet service.
