Gamers know you gotta go fast. They also know you can’t go fast without a fast monitor. Which is probably why Asus’ Republic of Gamers have launched the world’s first 165Hz monitor – the ROG Swift PG279Q. (It even says fast in the name!) The new IPS display is a 27″ 2K resolution monitor (2560×1440) and supports 60, 120, 144, and 165 refresh rates with NVIDIA’s G-SYNC technology. There’s a healthy amount of ports to keep you connected too. However, that speed does comes with a fast price of PHP 49,730.

If you’re willing to shell out the cash though, you’ll be getting a high resolution large display with added gaming features like a Crosshair Overlay, timer, and FPS counters. There’s even preset display modes for specific gaming genres, and Low Blue Light Technology to decrease strain on your eyes.

Connectivity wise you’re getting DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI, 2 USB 3.0 passthroughs, plus 2-watt speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The monitor can be articulated to pretty much any position, and feature 6mm thin bezels too. Response time is at a relatively decent 4ms due to the IPS technology.

The Asus ROG Swift PG279Q is available now at the aforementioned PHP 49,730 price. More specs and details can be read at Asus’s Website here.
