The shaky, handheld camera comparison is back! And now we’re checking out the phone everybody has been talking about: the Alcatel One Touch Flash Plus. Its a doozy of a price-busting phone at only PHP 6,490, but can it’s camera compete against one of the best bang for buck phones out there – the Asus Zenfone 2? Well, in another few minutes you’ll have to decide for yourself – because we’ve compiled a video for you comparing shots between these two side-by-side. This time, we’ve made sure the settings were perfectly the same – so enjoy! (Video embedded above)

Alcatel One Touch Flash Plus Camera Specs – Full preview here

  • 13MP (4160×3120) Camera + LED Flash (Sensor brand unknown)
  • 8MP Front Camera
  • 1080p 30FPS Video Recording (3GP)

Asus Zenfone 2 Camera Specs – Full review here

  • 13MP (4096×3072 pixels) Toshiba Sensor Camera + Dual LED Two Tone Flash
  • 5MP Front Camera
  • 1080p Video Recording 30FPS (MP4)

You know what? This comparison is much harder to call. The Zenfone seems to control light flare better especially on the Beetle shot, while the AFP seems to blow out bright sources like the sun. However in pictures without bright spots, the Alcatel seems to do quite good – and its pretty tough to tell who won the video round. Oh and, who wants to see a round two between these two phones? I know I would.
