After an impressive stint of over 10+ years here in the Philippines, it is but a sad day to read that our local Ragnarok Online servers are now about to close. The game, to some of us, have been our first major MMO – and one of the games that shaped our local gaming scene to what it is today. (We might still be playing offline games if not for RO.) Alas, all great things must come to an end. The game’s local herald, Level Up! Games have declared that on March 31, 2015 the game is to go down for good. And while we might never have the urge to play it again, for those who do, they can still migrate their accounts to the International RO servers as a consolation.
