During the Cherry Mobile Flare 2.0 launch, they actually teased a little bit about a few more affordable Quad-Core android phones that will be hitting the Philippines in the next few weeks. The Cherry Mobile Apollo, it turns out, is one of those said phones. At only PHP 6,999, it is slated to be the most affordable Quad-Core device with an HD (1280×720) screen. The specs are also rounded out with a 12MP Camera with Dual-LED Flash, 1GB of RAM, and the usual connectivity options. Cherry Mobile Apollo – PHP 6,999

• 1.2Ghz Quad-Core Processor
• 4.5” 1280×720 Display
• Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
• 12MP Camera + LED Flash, 5MP Front
• 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, MicroSD
• Specs hint that it is an OEM Cubot GT99 which means
  • Processor is MediaTek 6589
  • IPS Display
  • 2,200mAh Battery (might be 1,800mAh as other info suggests)
