Android phones in the Philippines have sure gotten much more affordable in the past months, probably thanks in part to Cherry Mobile’s efforts. Now, it seems, they’re taking steps in giving us an even more compelling option of 1Ghz processor phones priced under PHP 4k. One of those devices is the topic of our unboxing for today – the Cherry Mobile W100. It is a single core 1Ghz-powered phone with a decent 3.5” 320×480 screen; has a 3MP camera with LED flash (plus front facing); is Dual SIM Capable with 3G support; and has all the standard Android 2.3 connectivity options. The best part about this phone is probably the price though – only PHP 3,499. As of today, we haven’t heard of any phone priced lower than PHP 4,000 with a Ghz processor, so you can definitely say that this is quite a lot of value for your money.
