While at the HTC Windows Phone 7 Workshop event, we were able to try out one of HTC’s newest android offerings, the HTC Incredible S.

The device has a 4.0” capacitive screen with a resolution of 800×480, has a 1ghz processor, 8MP camera with dual-LED flash, and can shoot HD video at 30FPS. At the back is the contoured battery cover that makes the phone look robust and powerful, as well as giving a decent grip for your hands. The Incredible S will come out with Froyo on-board but is promised a Gingerbread update very soon after its release.

One of the Incredible S’ curious new features is the automatically rotating menu buttons on the bezel. While most phones have auto rotate functions for its main screen, the HTC phone now also rotates the buttons so you can easily read the icons in landscape. Here is a quick video of it in action:

It’s a small, yet neat touch. And it tends to get people interested about the technology behind it. Certainly has us curious; are you?
