Why is that? I played this game on 480i SD quality PS2 and it seemed to look better. Now that its in 480p widescreen its blurred as hell. Ew, ew, and ew. I don’t know if I’ll pick this game up looking like this – I don’t know if the game is running interlaced or something. I don’t even know if it knows I’m running widescreen. Supposedly the Wii settings handle this sort of thing… but damn, why does it look like I’m playing Okami behind foggy glasses?
What about the game? Hell, I couldn’t even concentrate on the game. It looked so outdated that it wasn’t even funny. The celestial brush motion controls seemed a bit more useable – though the flick-to-attack and super-mini-dpad-camera controls were a bit unwieldy.
I’ve held Okami in such high regard in its PS2 days – it looks, plays, and IS better than Zelda Twilight Princess’s lame gamecube wii version. But ahh, why did they mess up such a good thing?
