Honor 30 Series Launches In China, Starts At 2999CNY/PHP 21.8K

Honor has just taken their wraps off of what appears to be another iteration on their popular bang for the buck premium midrange devices. The manufacturer have unveiled three devices in this roster, the Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30 Pro+. This is similar on what Huawei, their parent manufacturer, is doing on their recently introduced P40 series. 

The standard option has a 6.53-inch OLED panel at Full HD resolution. The display has a singular circular cutout on the top left. The device is now powered by the newly introduced HiSilicon Kirin 985 system on a chip which is paired with a Mali G77 MP8 GPU. Applied to the device 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage at maximum. Turning on the device will greet you with Honor’s skinned Android UI, MagicUI on Android 10. It’s photography capabilities are composed of a 40MP main sensor, an 8MP telephoto camera that can shoot for up to 50x digital zoom and a dedicated 2MP macro lens. The selfie camera is a 32MP solution. Jampacked with the device is a 4000mAh battery which supports 40W wired charging.

The Pro and the Pro+ version gets a step up from the standard version. On the front is a revamped OLED display which is now curved and refreshes at 90Hz. The display is now equipped with a pill punch-hole cutout. The HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G from the Huawei P40 and Mate 30 series returns here. The devices are coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Magic UI 3.1 is also inside the phone to meet with the user.

The Pro and Pro+ differ in its camera specifications.

The Pro+ gains the 50MP solution which is the same sensor found on the Huawei P40 series, the Sony IMX 700. An 8MP telephoto camera is helping the main shooter with up to 5x optical zoom, 16MP ultrawide angle lens is also present there. The Pro version gets treated the same with the standard affair with the 40MP main shooter. 

Both have 32MP shooters and a depth sensor for their selfie array. Both have 40W fast charging but unique to the Honor 30 Pro+ is 27W wireless charging. 

The Honor 30 will set you back for 2999CNY,3199CNY and 3499CNY. The Honor 30 Pro for 3999CNY and 4399CNY and the Pro+ will be at 4999CNY and 5499CNY. Starting about PHP 21K for the standard, PHP 28.7K for the Pro and PHP 35.9K for the Pro+.

These prices are not official to the Philippine market, availability here is not yet announced.
