Honor 90 GT launches in China with 8 Gen 2 and 50MP Sony camera for PHP 20K China price

Honor just announced their performance-focused smartphone for the Chinese market, the Honor 90 GT. Honor manages to pack in a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC into the 90 GT with an asking price of 2599 CNY or about PHP 20K equivalent sans taxes and duties.

Pairing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is LPDDR5X RAM up to 24GB and UFS 4.0 storage maxing out at 1TB. The user will be greeted by a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and refreshed at 120Hz. Despite the asking price, Honor managed to fit in a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera, accompanied by 12MP  ultrawide camera and 2MP macro sensor. Its 16MP selfie snapper is situated at the top center of the display.

The handset gets a 5000mAh battery with 100W fast charging technology, MagicOS 7.2 on top of Android 14.
