Just after the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 launch this Snapdragon Summit, different phonemakers gathered and teased their own device to feature the following chip, along with those manufacturers is realme. Teasing on their official platform on Weibo, realme tipped that they will be using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on their realme GT5 Pro. Recently, a TENAA certification has been spotted shedding more light to the supposed realme flagship.
Aside from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, GT5 Pro is said to feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage to pair with the SoC. The front contains a sizeable 6.78-inch 1.5K 1264p curved OLED panel which is also 10bit. Its 32MP selfie shooter resides on the center, atop of the display, the standard affair. Its rear cameras are a 50MP Sony IMX966 1/1.4” sensor for the main camera, 50MP Sony IMX890 1/1.5” for its 3x periscope telephoto zoom camera and a mediocre 8MP Sony IMX355 for its ultrawide.
Topping up the specs is a 5260mAh min/5400mAh typical size battery, 100W charging and likely to ship with Android 14 with realme UI.
As for its appearance, a prominent circular module reigns the top rear of the device, with a peculiar placement of the logo just below the module. While the front shows the prominent curvature of the front facing panel.
