OnePlus is preparing a midrange phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

OnePlus is currently preparing one of their premium tier devices, a follow up to the OnePlus Ace 2, the Ace 2 Pro. The tipped information digs into the device’s display and performance prowess.
Digital Chat Station shared that the Ace 2 Pro will have a display made by BOE. The display is described to be a curved OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution.
The tipster did not unveiled much of the specifications of the Ace 2 Pro aside from it having a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Other rumors from Twitter that it will borrow and have features like its cameras and battery like the Ace 2. To refresh, the Ace 2 has a 5000mAh battery, a 50MP Sony IMX 890 main shooter, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro and a 16MP selfie shooter.
The Ace series is OnePlus’ midrange tier of their smartphone lineup. This leak may mean that manufacturers are adapting and positioning the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 to lower end devices
