Next gen Xiaomi 14 Pro tipped to launch at the end of the year, rogue rumor suggests

With the release of the Xiaomi 13 series last year and the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra soon this quarter, Xiaomi has been hamming out their flagship series quickly. Now the alleged Xiaomi 14 Pro is rumored to be slated later this year.
Its exact or even its month of launch date is currently unknown. Twitter user That_Kartikey has shared a Weibo post from blogger Digital Chat Station. He stated that the device described is the Xiaomi 14 Pro. If it were to launch this year, this may hint that the upcoming Snapdragon Tech Summit is early again this year with it to come the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, codenamed “SM8650”, to power the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
Barring from the processor, the Weibo tipster also shared that the upcoming phone will also feature a periscoing lens. It is suspected that the 14 series will also focus on the camera hardware and will have Leica tuned cameras. If it were to launch this December, the upcoming Snapdragon Tech Summit should be placed days or weeks before the 14 series’ launch.
