Red Magic’s next iteration on their gaming phone series has appeared on TENAA. With that comes initial renders of the device and its specifications. The specifications may be as expected, gaming-focused high performance grade, its design is a departure from the series.
The specifications are what you expect from them, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, two large battery variants 5000mAh and 6000mAh, the former charges at 165W. The SoC will be paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It also runs on Android 13.
Other features include the 50MP, 8MP and 2MP trio on the rear, the 16MP selfie camera is hidden beneath the panel. And the device has a shoulder trigger buttons and their known ICE cooling system which includes a spinning RGB fan inside.
The renders show a much more squared-off design. The rear remains eccentric with the gamer-esque inspired rear cover. The frame is now a boxy aluminum edge containing the power, volume and shoulder trigger buttons on their respective sides.
The device is expected to launch tomorrow in China, December 16.
