OPPO has revealed before their first strike on the foldable smartphone scene, the Find N. Now, they are set to unveil two more devices under the Find N umbrella, aptly named the Find N2 series. The set of devices consists of the Find N2 and the Find N2 Flip.
First, the Find N2 has the underclocked Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. This choice makes sense since it is fitted inside a folding device, usually having constraints in hardware space. It will be having a 7.1″ 1920×1792 120Hz OLED inner panel and a 5.54″ 2120×1080 120Hz OLED outer adisplay. The rear camera system will be composed of 50MP Sony IMX 890 with OIS, a 48MP Sony IMX 581 and a 32MP Sony IMX 709 2x telephoto shooter. The front camera system is a dual 32MP setup. The battery and charging configuration is 4520mAh and 67W weighing in at 237g.
Meanwhile, the Find N2 Flip is a vertical flipping device with two main screens. Inside is a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC. The inner display is measured at 6.8″ 120Hz OLED and the external panel is 3.26″. The camera system is a 50MP Sony IMX 890, and a 8MP IMX 355. The selfie shooter is a 32MP Sony IMX 709. Its battery and charging spec is 4300mAh and 33W weighing in at 191g.
The Find N2 series camera system will be helped by OPPO’s homegrown Marisilicon X ISP and Hasselblad. Both devices are expected to be announced at OPPO’s INNO Day, tomorrow in China (December 15)
