Further expanding the Nord lineup, the alleged Nord CE 3 is currently in the works and it bears questionable specifications. The device seems to be in a regression in terms of hardware features based on a new report.
Laying out the specifications first, the CE 3 will be having a Snapdragon 695 chipset, a 6.7″ Full HD LCD panel that refreshes at 120Hz, up to 12/256GB memory configuration. The rear cameras is lead by a 108MP main camera and two 2MP sticker shooters. The selfie camera is at 16MP. The device will be charging at 67W to fill its 5000mAh battery.
Comparing the CE 3 to the CE 2 series it certainly grabs some attention and offers key features from the CE 2 and the CE 2 Lite. The successor grabs the same SoC from the Lite version. This is not as good as the Dimensity 900 on the CE 2 with slower CPU and GPU setups. The main camera edges the two in terms of megapixels at 108MP, though that’s not a sure way to measure photo quality.
The selfie shooter on the other hand, is inherited from the CE 2 at 16MP. The battery capacity is the same from the Lite at 5000mAh but charging capabilities at 67W is inherited from the CE 2.
The CE 3 shapes to be a combination of the CE 2 series set of specs, though that doesn’t look to be a good step forward to the series in terms of bringing upgrades.
