Xiaomi 13 Flagship Series, with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, To Arrive Later This Year

The Xiaomi 12 series was introduced with a radical change in form factor and aesthetics. The series focused on more compact feel with the standard Xiaomi 12 and the 12X. The successor of the series might come sooner than anyone think.

Xiaomiui has dug up information regarding the model number via their IMEI number. The two main devices, the Xiaomi 13 Pro and the Xiaomi 13 are having the model numbers of 2210132C/G and 2211133C/G for both Chinese and Global variants respectively. The model numbers themselves reveal which they are roughly might get announced, November of this year.

This is a full month ahead than the December debut the numeric series already had, which was already much earlier than the competition for a 2023 flagship lineup. If correct, that in turn positions Qualcomm to introduce the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 much earlier as well.
