The Honor X series gets a sequel in China with the X40 5G launches in the region. The device is a budget wonder offering a premium style at a budget asking price.

Its design communicates with a curved OLED display at the front that refreshes at 120Hz and measuring at 6.67 inches diagonally. The rear resembles Huawei’s flagships with the ring module design containing the dual 50MP and 5MP setup.

Under the hood is up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage paired with the Snapdragon 695 5G processor for performance. The power sipping chip at 6nm is fueled by a 5100mAh battery that can be charged at 40W.

One attractive feature of the handset is the prim craftsmanship of Honor with the handset. Barring the design language, the device is thin at 7.9mm and only weighs 172g despite having a large 5100mAh cell.

Prices and key specifications of the handset are displayed below. No certain availability for the Philippine market has been announced as of writing.
