Since the inception of the ROG Phone, ASUS exclusively uses the best that Qualcomm has to offer on the Android camp. Now that MediaTek has caught up, even briefly overtaking with the Dimensity 9000 before the 8+ Gen 1 came out, nee rumors sugget that the phonemaker is ready to use MediaTek silicon.
Digital Chat Station laid out specifications of an alleged ROG Phone 6D. The phone has the best MediaTek has to offer as of writing, the Dimensity 9000+. The 9000+ is a binned version of the 9000 which already trumps the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 made by Samsung.

Aside from that, the 6D also enjoys the ROG specs sheet treatment. The user is expected to get 165Hz refresh rate OLED display made by Samsung, a 65W fast charging capability to fill out the 6000mAh battery and a Sony IMX 766 50MP sensor which was popularized by high end OPPO and Huawei devices.
The device is expected to launch this September 19 as teased by ROG Global’s Twitter handle. Given that it is the first of its class, a lower tier ROG Phone series, its price profile is currently unknown but it should be less than the ROG Phone 6 with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
