Moto S30 Pro and X30 Pro released in China with curved OLED displays, flagship chipsets and up to 200MP

Motorola has announced two new flagship candy bar smartphones last August 11. The X30 Pro and the S30 Pro both carry promising hardware for their asking price.

Starting with the X30 Pro, the phone boasts the title of the first device to have Samsung’s HP1 sensor which has 200MP for its main camera. Not only does it have the 200MP, it also has OIS on its main shooter.

Other on-paper specifications include a curved OLED Full HD display 144Hz, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset up to 12/512GB storage and RAM setup.

Its battery is pegged at 4610mAh with a comprehensive charging capability of 125W wired charging, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless. The 200MP sensor is accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro and a 60MP selfie shooter.

Meanwhile, the S30 Pro offers impeccable specs for its asking price of 1999CNY. The device core focus is a thin and light form factor and aggressive specifications. The Snapdragon 888 Plus, 12/512GB and a 6.55″ Full HD curved OLED 144Hz display screams that the handset is a powerhouse for media and performance.

The cameras are looking decent with a 50MP Omnivision OV50A sensor assisted by OIS. That is accompanied bt a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro shooter. The selfies are taken care of a 32MP solution.

The S30 Pro weighs in as light as 167g and is only 7.5mm thin. By that, it enjoys averagely sized 4400mAh that can charge up to 68W.

Both devices are running MyUI 4.0 skin on top of Android 12. Key specifications and Chinese pricing for both devices are listed below.
