Not much is known to the upcoming Redmi Note 12 series to launch later this year. Though with the release of the Redmi Note 11T Pro series, many speculate that the upcoming Redmi Note 12 will return to a prim and proper “balanced” experience with the 11T Pro series has the performance focused concept.
Digital Chat Station unraveled nuggets of information regarding the Redmi Note 12 series. The series will feature a top center punchhole cutout at the display. The display also does not curve in its sides and is suspected to be OLED. The handsets are expected to have a 50MP shooter as the main sensor, accompanied by an 8MP and 2MP cameras.
Assuming the series continues on with the model it has right now, it is expected that Redmi will release a standard, a Pro and a Pro+ version.
Well, the reports end there but it is safe to speculate some of its other specifications based on the Redmi Note 11 series in China. The Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro+ both used a MediaTek Dimensity 920, 120Hz OLED screen and 67W or 120W fast charging.
The Redmi Note 12 series can improve upon that by equipping it a new chip like the newly released Dimensity 1050 or an upgrade to a Snapdragon 778G. It can also retain the screen spec with better quality calibration.All these are speculations, but the devices are expected to launch later this year.
