New reports from China suggest that the popular budget tablet from realme will soon have a follow up. This time, the Chinese firm will have its internals upgraded and will have 5G support. From realme, this alleged tablet will be the third one following the realme Pad and the realme Pad Mini.
The realme Pad 5G will feature a high resolution 2K IPS panel that refreshes at 120Hz. This is coupled with an 8360mAh battery to fuel the device. At the helm of the tablet is a large leap from the two former tablets as it now has the popular Qualcomm Snapdragon 870. This enables the device to have 5G support aside from exemplary performance.
The handset is expected to be introduced in China this May 26. No other details have been reported such as its specifications and pricing.
Alongside the launch of the Pad 5G, realme will be unveiling Naruto themed devices such as a powerbank and the realme GT Neo3 150W. Realme is no stranger for special edition devices as they released a Dragon Ball edition of the realme GT Neo2 before.
