OnePlus has launched their newest midrange phone for the Chinese market, the OnePlus Ace. If the moniker seems familiar to you that is because OnePlus inherited the name from OPPO’s Reno Ace and Ace 2 series with both of them offering flagship performance at a lower asking price. Coming off of that, the OnePlus Ace seem to share the same ideology as the Ace’s before.

Starting at PHP 20.2K equivalent, the Ace packs in the MediaTek Dimensity 8100. The chip is said to be a near equivalent to the Snapdragon 888 in benchmarks but offers more with increased power efficiency by drawing up to 50% less power on certain benchmarks. That may mean that the chip will theoretically have no or minimal heating issues.

The display is a 6.7 inch Full HD OLED panel that refreshes at 120Hz. Its front panel has the 16MP selfie camera at the top center. The camera system on the rear is lead by a 50MP Sony IMX 766 sensor with OIS. The shooter is coupled with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera.

As the device is launched in China, the Ace boots up ColorOS on top of Android 12. A 4500mAh battery and a 150W charging capability powers the handset. The Ace is expected to be launched as the OnePlus 10R in global markets. Below are the key specifications and converted prices of the Ace.
