Lenovo Legion is popular as the firm’s gaming lineup. Recently, they have added two more devices in the series.
Lenovo specced the Legion Y90 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Qualcomm’s latest and greatest. It starts with a hefty 12GB RAM and can go up to 16GB and 18GB of storage. The lower RAM variants gets 256GB of UFS storage while the top version is equipped with 640GB of dual storage which splits to 512GB of UFS technology and 128GB of SSD storage. The phone runs on Android 12 on top of ZUI 13.
It has a large 6.92″ Full HD Super AMOLED panel that refreshes at 144Hz, touch polling at 720Hz and brightness at 1300nits. Shoulder keys are present which represent four buttons (L1,L2,R1,R2) and two pressure sensitive areas on the display represent additional triggers (L3, R3)
The phone has two Z-axis motors for better haptic and vibration and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The Legion logo is located within the back with RGB lighting that can cycle up to 262K colors.
The 16MP selfie shooter is tucked within the bezel while there is a 64MP main camera at the rear and a 120° 13MP ultrawide camera.
The phone has a 5600mAh battery that can charge for up to 68W. USBC ports can be located at the bottom and on the side for horizontal use.
