Realme had its first shot on the tablet market with the release of the realme Pad. The upcoming new tablet will be alike to the realme Pad but possibly at a cheaper price with watered down specifications.
Steve Hemmerstoffer from Onleaks partnered with smartprix had leaked the renders of an upcoming budget tablet device from realme. According to them, it is called the realme Pad Mini. Based on its nomenclature alone, the Pad mini will be a toned down version of the realme Pad. That also reflects on its leaked specifications as well.
The tablet’s display will be 8.7″ large with TFT technology. It will run on a UNISOC T616 chipset that is paired with either 3 or 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage and currently unknown if it has microSD expansion. An 8MP rear shooter and a 5MP selfie camera makes up the optics of the device.
Its actual performance is currently unknown since the UNISOC T616 chip has only been on one device currently, the realme C35. But the CPU cores made into it are similar to a Helio G70 processor and the GPU is alike to the Adreno 505 found in the Snapdragon 439 based on FP32.
The handset runs on a special realmeUI made for tablets on top of Android 11. It is powered by a 6400mAh battery that supports of up to a standard 18W charging
As of writing, its launch date is currently not known
