The Find X series is OPPO’s flagship lineup since its first innovative debut, the Find X. The series has been playing safe by adding in the standard bells and whistles of what a smartphone is. The upcoming refresh, the Find X5, is nothing short of different either.
According to WinFuture, the handset purportedly features an AMOLED panel at 6.55″ 1080p with support of up to 120Hz refresh rate. Its display will offer 10-bit color depth and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus as protection. The standard X5 will pack in a weaker, but still very capable, Snapdragon 888 chipset. The CPU is coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage.
The cameras will be lead by a 50MP primary snapper. It is accomoanied by a 50MP ultrawide shooter and a 13MP telephoto for zooming capabilities. Powering the X5 is a 4,800mAh cell with 80W charging support and wireless charging.
Meanwhile, the X5 Lite will be reportedly similar to the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 2. The Nord CE 2 is tipped to have a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, a high refresh rate AMOLED display, 8GB and 256GB memory configuration, and 4500mAh battery with 65W charging support. The Lite version will still have the 3.5mm headphone port.
Both of the handsets will be booting up ColorOS 12.1 on top of Android 12. The launch of the two handsets will be alongside with the Find X5 Pro and the alleged OPPO tablet this February 24.
