Motorola has just refreshed their Edge series recently with the X30 and the S30, G200 globally, in the Chinese market with proper flagship specifications and features. Now, the rumor mill runs again from them, as according to a report, they maybe working with another device with Samsung’s 200MP sensor.
A tip from Nils Ahrensmeier claims that the phonemaker is working on “Frontier”. Aside from its codename, specifications of the device also accompanied with the report. It is rumored that the device will have an SM8475 processor which is a TSMC refined version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Aside from that the handset will have a Full HD 144Hz OLED panel at 6.67″.
The cameras of the phone is special as it is the first rumored handset to feature Samsung’s HP1 200MP sensor. The main shooter is accompanied by a 50MP JN1 ultrawide camera, which is available on other flagship devices at a similar use. A 12MP Sony IMX 633 telephoto camera is tipped as well. The selfie shooter on the front is a 60MP sensor.
Ridiculous specs doesn’t end there as the charging speeds will push up to 125W wired and 50W wirelessly. Memory variants are either 8/128GB and 12/256GB.
The report does not say when the launch date is but the new Qualcomm chip is expected to launch this Q3 this year so we may see the device a little later than that.
