The POCO X3 series has expanded into different array of budget devices. It started with the X3 NFC which entered at a competitive price point with a Snapdragon 732G and 120Hz LCD panel. The latest device on the series is the X3 GT with a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chip and again, 120Hz display. Now, according to a report from xiaomiui, the series is due for a refresh and it has some key upgrades over its predecessors.

According to xiaomiui, the upcoming X4 series will be based off of the already launched in China Redmi Note 11 series. Now, the standard Redmi Note 11 5G had already launched as the POCO M4 Pro, it leaves us with the Pro and the Pro Plus model.

Atleast for the Pro version, it is expected to debut as the POCO X4 and X4 NFC with model numbers from the IMEI database 2201116PI and 2201116PG respectively.

As a refresher, the Redmi Note 11 Pro deviates from any other Redmi Note that launched in China. This is one of the Redmi Note devices to feature a 120Hz OLED panel measuring at 6.67”. Aside from the display, the device has a MediaTek Dimensity 920, 108MP main camera, 5160mAh battery with support of up to 67W fast charging. It is reasonable to expect that POCO may add some aesthetic changes over the Redmi Note 11 Pro.
