Qualcomm is about to announce their newest flagship mobile platform this November 30. Xiaomi and Motorola are two of the first manufacturers tipped before to first feature the said chip. Now, new information regarding Motorola’s upcoming handset has surfaced.
Motorola Edge X or Edge 30 Ultra are the alleged names of the upcoming handset, the rumor of having two names maybe of a possible different regional naming convention.
Naming aside, the purported handset is said to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. Aside from the upcoming Qualcomm chip, it will featude a 6.67″ Full HD Super AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate support. The display is also said to be HDR 10+ compliant.
The cameras are interesting, the rear setup is composed of a trifecta of two 50MP shooters and a 2MP completing the trio. The selfie camera will be a 60MP shooter, this is one of the highest if not the highest megapixel count on a selfie snapper.
The device will be powered by a 5,000mAh cell that charges at 68W. It will boot up Android 12 with a MyUI skin on top of it.
Other features include an under display fingerprint scanner, LPDDR5 RAM, up to 12GB RAM and 256GB odf storage and stereo speakers.
Its launch date in China is said to be at the end of 2021.
