Xiaomi usually is behind when it comes to screen resolution with their premium devices in the past years sticking only with a 1080p display and some occasional Quad HD displays on some like the Mi Note lineup. Things took a departure december last year as the Chinese firm had unveiled their mainstream flagship, the Mi 11, with a Quad HD panel. Now, a certification of an alleged device takes things further as the phone will sport a 4K OLED panel.
The handset has passed through TENAA certification, Xiaomi 2109119BC, revealed that the handset will be having a 6.55-inch 3840x 2160 OLED panel. Aside from that, it will be equipped by a 2.4GHz octa core chipset accompanied by up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage. The clockspeed points that the device might be using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset.
Continuing on with the listing, the smartphone will be having a triple rear camera system with a 64MP main shooter and two accompanying 8MP cameras. Ten colorways are listed on the certification which includes black, white, red, yellow, orange, pink, cyan, green, purple and blue. The phone will be having Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 booting the system up.
The rumor mill points that 2109119BC might be the successor to the Xiaomi MiCC9 Pro which launched as the Mi Note 10 outside of China. Since Xiaomi has already introduced Civi, it might launch simply as the Civi Pro.
