Vivo spin off iQOO launches their new budget midrange device, named the Z5, featuring above average specifications relative to its asking price.

The Z5 is equipped with a 6.67-inch 120Hz Full HD IPS LCD panel that has a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display touts a punchhole at the top center portion of the front housing a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. The rear camera system is composed of a 64MP shooter accompanied by two other sensors, 8MP and 2MP.

As for the performance prowess which iQOO usually have their forte on that area, the device is packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset which is comparable to a 2 year old flagship smartphone in terms of benchmark scores from AnTuTu. The chip is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256Gb of storage.


The battery of the device is pegged at 5000mAh and can be charged at 44W fast charging.
Other features include LPDDR5 RAM, virtual RAM, NFC, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and 3.5mm headphone port.
