It is heavily rumored that Samsung will be equipping Samsung Exynos 2200, rumored to have RDNA2 graphics with collaboration with AMD, to its flagship devices next year, presumably the Samsung Galaxy S22. Though a new report suggests that Samsung will switch things around for this series.
Final decision has NOT been made as of now, but the current decision is as follows:1. Europe: 100% Exynos 22002. North America regions: 100% Snapdragon 898, but Verizon is requesting to equip Exynos 2200 so Samsung is negociating (1/4)Source: https://t.co/Pe55bDDfcy— Tron ❂ (@FrontTron) September 5, 2021

According to the source, Samsung will be having the Qualcomm platform more available to the market, assumed to launch in more markets than the Exynos variant. This is however, not the case where the Exynos chip is not on par with Qualcomm’s solution. The cause is said to be a very low yield in chip production with the chip shortage in play with the custom RDNA2 graphics is in factor. Over the past few years, Samsung has always prominently showcased its Exynos chip all over its majority of its markets.
3. Korea, Hong Kong: Snapdragon 898 "highly likely", China Telecom is requesting to equip Exynos 2200 to China Telecom only model so Samsung is also negociating4. Southeast Asia regions / India: Snapdragon 898 "highly likely"(2/4)— Tron ❂ (@FrontTron) September 5, 2021

Benchmarks of this alleged chip has showed promise. From what we know so far, the graphics performance rivals the Apple A14 Bionic which is regarded to be one of the fastest chip to date. This is thanks to Samsung’s shift to AMD’s RDNA2 architecture from the standard ARM Mali GPU solution.
As per the launch of the next flagship devices, you might have to wait until early to mid 2022 along with the other wave of flagship devices with Qualcomm’s new chip.
