Qualcomm just recently launched the Snapdragon 778G and 780G. These two chips are similar in terms of features and specifications with the 778G is trailing behind by just. Though, Qualcomm may not be done yet in releasing a chip in this lineup with jew information from a reliable source surface out.
Roland Quandt, tipster of renders of consumer electronics at WinFuture, has tweeted that Qualcomm is testing another chip on the newly released series. He stated that the silicon being tested has a part number of “SM7315”. This is akin to the SM7350 of the Snapdragon 780G 5G and SM7325 (Snapdragon 778G).
Aside from the part number, he stated that the mobile platform will feature an octa core CPU setup with four high performance cores and four efficiency cores. As of testing, the powerful cores is running at 2.4GHz. This is paired with an Adreno GPU, likely to be a Adreno 642 derived setup, clocked at 550MHz. It will also support of up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM.
Although not stated, it is a nobrainer assumption that the San Diego chipmaker will pack the said processor with 5G capabilities and connectivity.
