Two new Snapdragon 600 mobile platforms are now rumored to launch within the year. Namely SM6325 and SM6450, based on their part numbers, the names itself gives a hint their specifications with correlation to already launched mobile processors.

The Snapdragon 690 5G processor

SM6325 might be a derivative of SM6350 or the Snapdragon 690 5G processor which was featured on the OnePlus Nord N10. The chip is built on 8nm fabrication process and features an octa core setup with maximum clock frequencies of 2.0GHz. Its GPU is an Adreno 619L that will boot up games. The alleged processor might be a watered down version of the 690. This may be a cut of the 5G modem or lowering the clock frequencies. This may suit on budget devices on value manufacturers like Xiaomi and realme or higher end devices from Nokia.

While the other processor, the SM6450, points out to be the successor of the Snapdragon 690 5G. No specifications were out for this, though it is logical to think that this is a step up version compared to the Snapdragon 690 being this as the successor.

No timeframe of a launch as of writing, but it is interesting to see that the San Diego chip maker is poised more processors for the midrange segment.
