Samsung’s upper midrange device has been announced with specifications and renders in tow. Just like its predecessors, Samsung packed some decent choices for the hardware within the expected handset. Some of the specs include a Snapdragon 700 series chip, a 1080p Super AMOLED panel, and an IP67 water and dust resistance Ingress Protection rating.
AT the heart of the device, Samsung put a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G chip within. The silicon is a 6nm octacore processor composed of a 1+3+4 CPU topography based on ARM Cortex-A78 and runs at a max frequency of 2.4GHz. That is paired with an Adreno 642L GPU for flagship-esque graphics performance for games.
The user will be looking mostly at a 6.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED at 120Hz. The display, based on the render, will be having a punchhole camera for the 32MP selfie snapper.
The rear sensor system is composed of four main modules. It is lead by a 64MP sensor, a 12MP shooter and two 5MP cameras.
It will be powered by a 4500mAh battery that refills of up to 25W of power. Other details include an under display fingerprint scammer, NFC, software running at Android 11 which likely OneUI 3.1 skinned, IP67 water and dust resistant and 6/128 and 8/256 gigabyte variants.
The device launched at a price of 409GBP or PHP 26.8K equivalent before taxes.
