The ROG Phone series from ASUS is well known as the gamer focused smartphone offering specifications with performance at first on queue. The series will be allegedly succeded by the rumored ROG Phone 5S. The device has leaked via a photo listing revealing its specifications.

The handset will be featuring the Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset. It is clocked at 3.0GHz based on ARM Cortex X1, A78 and A55 CPUs. Performance-wise, the 888 Plus is expected to chug any titles smoothly and top out at any benchmark. The silicon is paired of up to 18GB RAM and 512GB storage which will be likely to be LPDDR5 and UFS memory format.


Aside from the CPU, the device is listed to have a high refresh rate 144Hz OLED display. The device will be powered by a 6000mAh battery and have 65W of fast charging.

according to another tipster, the device is said to launch this August 16. It is unknown in which markets it will debut.

By the looks of it, the device will be at the bleeding edge of the spectrum when it comes to performance like the ROG Phone devices that preceded.
