Samsung has been competitive nowadays with their midrange setup for a few years now. Today, more information has been unearthed via a Geekbench listing revealing one of the series more powerful devices. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G, according to Geekbench and its listed specifications there is no slouch.
To get into the chase, the device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. The silicon, as a refresher is a 6nm built chip by the San Diego firm based on ARM Cortex-A78 CPU design, found on most flagships, that runs at 2.4GHz. It also has an Adreno 642L GPU for graphics, which is also in line with previous Snapdragon 800 series chips. Now that we knew that the chip is a power house, the listed device also runs on Android 11, which is likely on top of Samsung’s take on Android, OneUI.
The performance is backed up by 8GB RAM. Talking about more of the performance, the device manages to get 771 in single core and 2788 in multi core workload. Ranking these against previous flagship CPUs, the device slots in between the Snapdragon 855 and the 865 in performance.
Other specifications and its launch date are still currently unknown. Pairing this CPU and RAM config with decent hardware and this might be one of Samsung’s compelling trump card for their midrange roster.
