One of the most anticipated devices all across its markets, despite limited availability, is the Pixel devices from Google. Despite of their limited availability, the hype of the series is present considering this is Google’s, the father of Android, ideals when it comes to creating an Android smartphone.

A departure from last year and continuing the tradition, the Pixel 6 series is said to have two devices. The XL and the standard version, akin to the standard and XL version of what we are familiar of.

The XL version will be having a 6.71-inch OLED display, this is said to carry a panel with a plastic substrate. So the display is feasibly manufactured by LG alike to the Pixel 2 XL. Aside from that is up to 512GB of storage, 12GB RAM and a 5000mAh battery. One noticeable change of the Pixel this time, is the usage of a high megapixel shooter. The XL variant atleast has a 50MP main camera accompanied by a 48MP telephoto shooter. An ultrawide sensor of 12MP is also included in the roster.

The standard variant is a little watered down with a smaller display at 6.4″, up to 256GB of storage, 8GB RAM and lacking a telephoto camera but still having the same setup. A 4614mAh battery is in place of the 5000mAh.

The reported specifications does not reveal the processor but rumors and leaks point out to a homegrown SoC tailored by Google themselves with partnership with Samsung.

As for software, this time, word has spread included in the report that Google is committed of up to 5 years of software updates.
