The OnePlus Nord was the phonemaker’s first step in creating a wave in the midrange segment. Now that they have a roster of devices under the Nord lineup even extending the price range to the extreme budget category, OnePlus manages to worked on a successor to the vanilla Nord and is expected to launch soon.
Specifications include a MediaTek Dimensity 1200, which is a noticeable departure against the previous device having a Snapdragon 765G. The MediaTek chip goes toe to toe against Qualcomm’s previous flagship processor, the Snapdragon 865. This also means that the device also supports 5G networks like its predecessor.
Aside from the processing package, the device is rumored to include a 50MP triple rear camera setup and a 32MP selfie camera. The display at the front, alike to its predecessor, is a standard 90Hz Full HD super AMOLED panel.
The handset is also expected to have a 4500mAh battery with some support of quick charging via the company’s homegrown Warp Charge protocol. According to some teasers on Twitter, OnePlus is expected to release the device at July 22, so it won’t be long until we are acquainted with the device and its official specifications.
